Be sure to check in 60 minutes prior, otherwise, reservations may be given to walk-on passengers.Check-in is at the visitors center. An orientation and safety talk will take place 15 minutes prior to departure at the Visitor Center. Visitors are not guaranteed a spot on any ferry that is earlier or later than the departure time listed on their ticket.

Plan ahead

  • Occasionally, the City of Everett Parks Department provides educational walks and tours to learn about the local ecosystem.
  • After reserving travel on the Cape May Ferry, please check all email folders (including the spam and junk folders for guests using Verizon, Yahoo, or AOL email addresses) for your confirmation email.
  • Pull your car into the reservation lot where there will be another lot Attendant expecting your arrival.
  • Please check the 2024 Traditional schedule online to plan your desired travel times prior to booking.
  • Reservations changed within the seven-day time period must be used and cannot be changed again or canceled and issued a refund.

Never traveled by ferry?

Remember to arrive at Long Wharf North at least 20 minutes before your ferry departure to allow time for boarding. B) For a foot passenger reservation only, we charge the actual cost of your ferry tickets at check-out, with no reservation fee. Your tickets will be ready for you at the terminal the day of travel. Reserved tickets can be picked up at the ticket office at any time after they are made, but must be picked up from the ticket office no later than 30 minutes prior to departure. Passengers who have not boarded or who are not ticketed and in line 15 minutes prior to departure may have their tickets released to standby passengers. Any reservations not claimed prior to the boat’s departure time will be considered a No Show.

Sailings are subject to the vessel Captain’s discretion, including regular scheduled ferries and/or charters. Rarely are sailings cancelled for reasons other than mechanical problems with the vessel, severe weather and/or heavy seas. Should this occur a full refund will be made when sailings are cancelled by the Captain.

Changes cannot be made once the ferry reservation reservation date and time have passed. The drivers name cannot be changed after the initial booking. Tickets for infants (0-3 years), permanently resident seniors (aged 60+ showing a valid ID card) and tickets for passengers showing a valid EU Disability card MUST be obtained for free at the ticket booths. Travellers with children (4-12 years) must purchase a Euro 1.15 ticket per child, from the ticket booths. Gozo Channel will not refund wrongly purchased, online tickets and customers will have to purchase the correct ticket/s from the booths to proceed to embarkation.

It began as a riprap jetty in the late 1800s and provided a protected harbor and navigation channel. The Port of Everett gained ownership of Jetty Island in 1929 and, with the help of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, built a new marsh of dredged river materials in 1989. The original dredged material is more than 100 years old and has been added to over time as the result of maintenance dredging of the Snohomish River Channel. The ferry sells ice, firewood, potato chips, and drinks. The sale of these items is limited to only when the ferry is docked at Sea Camp.

If you arrive earlier than your departure time or have missed your designated departure time, available spots on other ferries will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please proceed to the standby line and our staff will do our best to get you on board if space is available. All vehicle reservations must be paid in advance by credit card. We will make every effort to move your booking to an alternate sailing, later in the day, based on space availability. Passengers MUST purchase departure and return trip during checkout. No cars, kayaks, or pets (including therapy and emotional support animals) are allowed on the ferry.

You can drive your car right onto the boat, or board as a foot passenger and simply walk on. The ferries run year-round and there are several sailings each day to and from each of the four main islands - Lopez, Orcas, San Juan, and Shaw. An interisland ferry allows island hoppers to travel between the islands with their car, bike, or by foot. Reservations can be moved to another departure time in advance, and as long as there is available space.

A concession-operated passenger ferry departs from downtown St. Marys and provides round-trip transportation services to Cumberland Island. This is especially great for anyone making a planned trip to the islands.
